la fête de la rose

We recently went to the nearby town of Chédigny to see their annual rose festival.  It seems every home in the charming town has a fantastic display of roses.  We managed to get three beautiful climbing rose plants back home and someday I hope to show you a display like this chez nous.

    1. Well I suppose virtual roses are better than no roses. It seems our new roses are quite happy to be here. But I've still got to re-plant them in our planter. But before that I have to fill the planter with dirt (which I do not yet have). So we'll see if they remain patient and happy in the meantime !

    1. This little town is just fabulous. The houses are so charming and well maintained. Judging from the advertising posters, there would appear to be a lot of artists in the area. I can see why.

Ah but chez vous, y aura-t-il aussi les deux boules de buis parfaitement taillées ? :-)
