le château

This is somewhat of an unusual angle on the local château as it was taken from street level close to the Loire.  The house to the right is privately owned and has its own architectural interest that I think makes it a nice complement to the big castle.  I only wish I had had a pocket ladder so I could have gotten less wall in the image, although I suppose it does make for a more mysterious look.

  2. I really like the photo but can understand about the pocket ladder. Maybe you could stand up on your bike!

    1. This day I was actually on foot roaming around town, but that would have been a good idea. As long as Elizabeth didn't see me doing it !
