the tumbling tree

This cedar sits atop a steep hillside.  In addition to growing straight up, it's branches have followed the hillside downwards creating this wonderful "tumbling down the hill" effect.

    1. I think that is the case. As the limbs grow out towards the sun, they then sink under the increased weight to the ground that slopes down.

    1. Not sure what your allusion is, but if you're thinking of the house he designed known as Falling Water then I totally agree.

    1. Thanks, I wish I could have captured better how steep the slope is here.
