The French word glacier is shop where ice cream is made (or at least sold, by my own observations). The French word glace means ice cream or just ice. I thought this view of a café on Place Debré brought both of these words together last week after the snow.
That fits the scene quite well!

ReplyDeleteNo. I'm afraid the quality of this is less than desired as there was a very fine mist falling and got on the lens (lens filter actually). Naturally, I didn't have a good lens wipe with me (duh), so this is the price I paid. You are probably an expert at field cleaning your lens with the weather you have.
