I think there is a song with lyrics, chestnut trees in blossom....can't remember it at the moment. Bot being familiar with chestnut trees...do they smell good?
I don't know about their smell as I have such a poor sense of smell. But I read on the internet (so you know it must be true!) that the smell is not very pleasing. But they look great and are everywhere. And of course famously so in Paris as your next comment demonstrates.
