helmets in the attic

Here I am back in the attic at château Chaumont.  I've already posted several shots from there.  It's hard to resist.  It's basically storerooms for old, and often un-restored, items not displayed in the renovated areas.  The low level light from small windows is perfect for capturing these scenes in black and white.

    1. I think they might have taken a dim view of that idea. Believe me I had a life time's worth of helmet time in high school playing football.

  3. I'm a big fan of visible museum storage. It works extremely well and really adds value to a visit. Nice composition.

  4. I store my old armor in a similar fashion. Of course, I can't fit into any of it these days.
