the great wall of teapots

I have ridden past this house on my bike several times in past, but this last time I finally stopped to capture this unusual scene.  The owner has attached teapots (among other things) all along the top of the wall in front of the house.  This little panorama captures just a small section of the total length!  It's quite impressive.  But why?  Ah well, why not!?

    1. I believe they are attached somehow, so it would be difficult. And the house is only a few meters away.

  2. Excellent, indeed why not. We have a similar but very, very scaled down version in Wanstead.

  3. Amusing and decorative. A shame they are enamel though. If they were china teapots it really would be the Great Wall of China (sorry...)

  6. This reminds me so much of all the garden displays I saw in Germany. Better than keeping them inside and out of sight!

  7. This reminds me so much of the garden displays I saw in Germany. Better than keeping them indoors where no one can see them. In Germany, the effect was often spoilt but too many different things. This one is just perfect although the red ones at the end look like an afterthougt.
