I love these - so decorative. We saw a field of them on our bike ride on Sunday: http://www.aussieinfrance.com/2014/10/cycling-to-the-rendez-vous-du-chocolat-at-chateau-de-villesavin/. I think, though, that they are called either courges or gourds in French, not gourges (unless it was an intended pun!).
You are absolutely correct. I just can't type (at least not before I've had my morning coffee obviously). Problem fixed. And your bike ride looks fabulous!
No ratatouille for me thanks, no courgettes anyway. Gimme squash and pumpkin soup, pie, cake, bread anytime. I'll take them simply roasted too. Super shot!
Hello I'm back . I saw lots and lots of courges on Vancouver's Farmer Market and my brother who is a quite good cook knows a hundred of recipes to prepare them all. You made many beautiful photos . I had a great time in my family and was so happy to take some time with my little nephew John , a cute baby boy of now 1 1/2 month. Tess
Gourd-geous! ;)
