I found this new section of a hiking/cycling trail just last week. It meanders along wooded areas and open fields alike. I had it all to myself on this sunny autumn afternoon.
You can publish a book with all the hiking/cycling trails around Amboise. Would for sure be a bestseller ! Still green nature and blue sky in Amboise. Tess
To get to where I started, you go north on the D431 toward Pocé-sur-Cisse (the Intermarché is on the left), just after you go over the Cisse, there's a little parking lot on the right with the entrance to the path. It ends at the roundabout near the entrance to Mick's place, if you know where that is. This section is short but if you continue east at the roundabout, it's a nice ride on a mostly quiet back road through Limeray, Cangey, Monteaux, all the way to Onzain.

Now there's an idea ! It's only been a week since I took this photo and it's much cooler and grayer now. I knew it would not last forever.
DeleteWhere is it exactly, Stuart?

DeleteIt looks like quite a pleasant path. I imagine you'll get back to it in spring.
