Snow series - snow shadows

I hope everyone is not too tired of Winter and snow to see a series of snow photos in Amboise.  As I posted earlier, snow is not all that common here, but when it does, it offers a lot of photo opportunities that otherwise would not be available...and so I must take advantage of that.  So please bear with me...after this series I'll start the slow transition to Spring when the Loire Valley really blossoms.

  1. Je ne me lasse pas de voir de si jolies photos, avec ou sans neige. Celle-ci est vraiment originale.

  4. We get less snow here than you - only once in ten years that we've been here. It was about 10cm, all gone by afternoon. One of our dogs loved it. We can see white stuff on the mountain, skiing is just 40 minutes away. Back in San Diego snow was never.

  6. Joe, to have skiing so close is great. I'm sure you can easily make day trips. On the other hand, we are a long way from either the Alps or the Pyrenees for the closest skiing.

    Michèle, le printemps arrive ! (uh...finalement !)
