les bateaux sur Loire - boats on the Loire


These flat-bottomed boats are typical of many small boats on the Loire.  You should know I did not hire the guy to pose with his umbrella while doing a little fishing (although I would have!).  Day 3 of the bike tour.

    Je ne crois pas que la photo soit en noir et blanc car l'herbe semble verte au premier plan. Néanmoins ce 'look' B&W va très bien à ce cliché.

    Was he keeping out of the sun or rain?

      On this day, he was probably more concerned about rain than sun. It was another grey day of cycling, but thankfully it did not rain.
