The first of every month is theme day for the City Daily Photo bloggers. In Amboise, this building is a little rusty and faded, but it's not really ruined as there is still a working carpenter's shop here. In any case, I find it makes an interesting collage of muted color and texture.

I wouldn't have guessed that a carpenter still works there.
ReplyDeleteHow interesting that this building is still in use! I would hae assumed it's vacant.
ReplyDeleteI do like this photo. I try to imagine how it was looking at its opening...
ReplyDeleteNice entry for this theme day!

ReplyDeleteNice entry! The Belgian photographer made a lot of pictures from old shopwindows. He is a genius!
ReplyDeleteIn a way it's sad and in a way it has its own beauty! Cool place for the theme!
ReplyDeleteLovely shot Stuart, would love to have seen it in all it's glory.
ReplyDeleteI like it too. It's faded, but it still feels like there's a working place within.
