Queen Anne's lace dethroned


This is how the magnificent wildflower looks after it has gone to see.  Beforehand this is how it looks opened up.

  1. Errr....this is how it looks after it has flowered and set seed. The flower head closes in on itself. This is the birth of next year's plants if you like :-)

    1. Thanks for the clarification. I've never heard of flowers folding up like this after blooming... except in a more dried up state. How fascinating.

  5. Ce sont des carottes sauvages, ou cigüe. I only rarely notice them before they are opened!
