a splash of light

Walking by the Loire recently, I caught the light from the low sun (behind me) being reflected off of the windows of the homes on the Ile d'Or and then reflected again off of the river.  I wish it was possible to capture the brightness of the light.

  2. It's neat how the light is reflected in the water, but you don't see it on the glass itself.

    1. Yeah, but usually I'm getting it from the afternoon light, so this was nice to find in the morning.

  4. This is a delightful shot and yes, the Loire light is special. To capture it, you would have to be Vermeer or Fantin Latour...

    1. Yes indeed. We have a friend who gets incredible shots from her house directly across.
