Yes, Atlas Cedar. They droop at the tips, and are more graceful than the curiously horizontal Cedars of Lebanon.
Thanks, Susan.
The cedar seems to lower down its top. A majestic and as you say graceful tree. You seem to have a lot of nice bike pathes around Amboise and it must be a real pleasure to roam around .Tess
Oh indeed it is a pleasure to explore the many bike routes around Amboise. Without these promenades there would be no ADP !
i have one next to my driveway :)
All right... the international tree !
It is a beautiful tree Stuart, lovely green law and hedge too. I'm looking forward to things greening up over here after our long hot summer.
That's ironic that it greens up after summer there. Just the opposite of what I grew up with in the south of the US.
It's lovely! I'm pretty sure it wouldn't grow here though...
Really ? I guess I though cedars were everywhere.
And it's one of my favourites.
These and the cedars of Lebanon are found frequently here. They are so unique and so beautiful.
It looks feminine, light and - as you said - graceful.
Maybe "laid back" applies too !
