It is spring in Amboise... especially in this vineyard.

  1. Can't wait to get back to the Loire on Monday! Signs of spring in Paris are reduced to an occasional magnolia ...

    1. The Champ de Mars is looking pretty good now. There are cherry trees and others in bloom. But there is much more to come of course.

  2. A yellow carpet and blue skies. What else to await for the official spring beginning. Very blue sky and sun overhere too and I got a bunch of flowers from the doctor who takes care of me. Such a nice person. Will leave next week for a specisl rehabilitation hospital. Have to stay there about 6 months 800 km away from my fiancé and friends. I am not happy. Sigh. Thanks for your marvellous shots. Make my day brighter.

    1. Well I'm glad you got some flowers indoors to brighten your days. Hospitals can be so stark. Six months of rehab doesn't sound like fun... especially without your support team. But I'm sure they will be with you in spirit. And image the party you will have when you return !

    1. And I'm guessing you may be glad that it's autumn after the temps you've had this summer.

  5. It looks lovely!

Here our first day of spring still feels like winter.

    1. Yeah, sorry 'bout that. Not trying to rub it in ! It's ironic since we are substantially farther north than you.

But we're in for winter this weekend if I'm to believe my colleagues who still listen to weatherman...

    1. Yes, it looks like the party is over for a while. Starting Saturday we're back to below average temperatures and rain. Oh well. Nice while it lasted.

  8. I think this is just a cruel teaser - cruel mostly to the poor, wee flowers that have to endure more cold rain!

    1. That could be the case. This week has been below average temps... with rain. I'm afraid those two weeks of warm weather may have spoiled us.
