kayaks on the Loire

The kayaks are already out on the Loire.  I can only imagine how cold the water must still be so I hope they manage to remain upright.

  3. Great shot ! Watersport freaks practise whenever the weather allows it. It seems there is also a young boy, really nice. My youngest brother is a wild water kayak fan he lives in Canada and my mom is always worried , she never was in Namibia when there were lions, elephants and a lot if other wild animals. Lol. I wish you a nice week end the sky is clear blue over here and my fiancé arrives to lighten up my day.

    1. That is one of my favorite themes... that people worry about the wrong things. But in any case, it looks like a glorious weekend here. And I am so glad to hear you will have some loving company. Bon weekend !

  4. They look like they're wearing insulated clothing... still if they flip over... yikes. The bright colors of this pic were a nice pick-me-up this morning. That and a cup of coffee and I am wide awake, ready for the day. Thanks for sharing. =)

    1. Yes, I think you are right... they might be protected from the cold but will they have enough mobility to upright themselves ?! Have a great weekend Peggy !

  5. They're quite colourful kayaks too.

I've been more appreciative of canoes, actually, but I've been in these before.

    1. I have done some canoeing but never kayaking. It looks like it would be a lot of fun.

  7. I'm no good at this. I capsize all the time. But I like the colourful kayaks and the thought that some are good at it.
