If anyone immediately recognizes that this is what's left of a rear view mirror, I'll be impressed. Not only knocked off its home perch, it looks like it has been driven over a few times. Oh the indignities. But to the end it can still make an interesting reflection of the blue sky and white clouds above (as Mick would say, "in tatters... but still surviving on the street...").
DeleteI recognized it immediately because... ours was recently shattered and had to be replaced. Beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteSorry you to had to learn about this image the hard way. Thanks.
DeleteThat is as they say entirely different!
ReplyDeleteI admit this is not something you see everyday. And many would say "thank goodness".
Deletecool find!!
ReplyDeleteIt caught my eye glinting in the sun one day while on my usual running route. I finally went back recently to snap it (and dispose of it).
DeleteWell, it does indeed make an interesting photo. ;))
ReplyDeleteThanks. Pushing the envelope with this one.
DeleteLovely réflexions on it
ReplyDeleteThank you... that's what I found made it interesting... in spite of all the abuse.
DeleteI thought it was a mosaic at first!
ReplyDeleteWell it is... only a bit of a random one !
DeleteI would have never guessed. It does make for a great shot! Well spotted!!
ReplyDeleteThanks !
DeleteStreet art :) looks a wee bit like a mosaic elephant !
ReplyDeleteYes ! An elephant with a blue beak !
DeleteNice but tricky puzzle to solve.
ReplyDeleteIndeed ! I was surprised no one commented on my reference to Mick. I couldn't get that tune out of my head for days after.
