Beautiful but a bit too much forme. The "turquoise"colour is for me one in tropical waters.A nice sunday to you.Tess
It's an eye catcher color all right. Not my favorite !
Unusual architecture/design.
Unusual to say the least. And this is not typical for Amboise.
Pretty cool house. I'd love to see the inside!
Yeah, me too. I wonder if it's as unusual as the outside.
It looks rather peculiar.... and that is a very narrow door.
It does look narrow. I think the concept of standard size doors (as in the States) has been a late arrival to France.
it's so unusual! i like it though!
It does make a statement !
That reminds me of one of my favourite houses in Blois! http://www.bloisdailyphoto.com/2013/10/turquoise-and-purple-house-maison-turquoise-et-violette/
Yes, there are definitely similarities. I would love to know the whole story of this architecture. Let me know if you ever find out.
Love the œil-de-bœuf window. This looks sooooo French, sooooo railway French to me!
Yeah, I'd love to know what's on the other side of the little window.
Aww! and it's so pretty :) It almost looks like it could have been a fire station in a previous life, what do you think ?
That might be a possibility, but that garage door is pretty small... and I'm not sure a brawny fireman could get through that skinny front door !
