It's a fun place to visit. Have you seen the feeding of the dogs? I remember being there one time when a helicopter landed on that lawn. Several very wealthy-looking people got out for their private tour of the château.
I have not seen the feeding unfortunately... or fortunately if they feed on tourists. Anyway that was probably not us on the helicopter. I mean what would be the odds?!
Well actually I did, in a way ! After taking this shot we went to your house (April 2012 with those crazy Parisians) ! When (if) I get my driver's licence, we'll be back ! In the meantime, I have to rely on my photo archives from time to time.
Lovely picture,I really like the composition, framing the view through the window is a lovely touch. The solitary figure in the garden and the sun throwing shadows on the window sill complete it. Lovely part of the world as well!
I have some very fond memories of Cheverny though not this delightful view!
ReplyDeleteAnd the interior is so beautifully furnished.

ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words and visiting ADP. We really do love living in the Loire Valley. Perhaps you already know the region.
