I guess with the reduced resolution I use for the blog, it's not easy to see the crow at the end of the path. I'm not familiar with the "two feet wide" expression, but it sure suits.
A mysterious path and at the end I must say I'd rather go blind. (I am a fan of Etta James) What is it ? A house ?! This reminds me of the Enya ( not my cup of tea , but my mom loves her songs) song who can say where the road goes...only time....Your shot asks for an explication, I am curious. Tess
I'm afraid it's nothing more interesting that a big black crow... well, not so big in the photo ! Anyway, I just found the sinuous path to be interesting. Instead of a straight line to the water's edge, this beaten path is not in a hurry to get there. (And, at last, I too am more of a fan of Etta than Enya.)
Even enlarged, I can't quite make out what is waiting! This must be the original meaning of 'two feet wide'!

DeleteYou've created a bit of a mystery for us here Stuart :) I'm going with your four legged furry friend !
ReplyDeleteAlas, I no longer have a four legged furry friend. This was one of my fine feathered friends (a crow) !
DeleteI assumed it to be a bird. Good shot!
ReplyDeleteYou have a good eye. I did not realize just how small it would be in "internet size". But otherwise, there would have been no mystery.
