the market hall

This embellishment sits atop an old market hall that today is on the grounds of Clos Lucé.  This building of iron was designed by the company of Gustave Eiffel... yes, that Eiffel.

    1. It's no longer used as a market but is used for exhibitions.

  2. Do not like the thing itself but very much the way you took it ! Eiffel était un précurseur dans ce domaine . I love the Eiffel Tower
even if many people do not like it.

    1. As an engineer, I really do appreciate the tower... not only for its engineering feat but also for it's delicacy... if I dare describe it that way.

  5. Eiffel got around. I love his canal bridges (bridges going over canals) as well.
