Rue Nationale is the Main street of Amboise. During most of the day it is blocked from traffic and is a pedestrian street lined with shops and restaurants. From this vantage point, one can see the chapelle St-Hubert on the grounds of the château.
I remember well rue Nationale , my fiancé took a pic with me ...your shot is beautiful with the view up to the church. Yesterday was a blissful day, my fiancé had the right to take me out for some hours...sunshine,people around, noise , a piece of chocolate cake with cream, it was heavenly. Tess
A pleasant place to stroll, except maybe in the middle of August!
ReplyDeleteThere's a reason they call this a tourist town.

DeleteA pedestrian way - I am envious!
ReplyDeleteInteresting how the boards are all on the road, leaving the sidewalk free for sitting and strolling.
