the path

This little path leads from the levee down to the water's edge.  You'll probably have to enlarge this to see who's waiting at the end.

  1. Even enlarged, I can't quite make out what is waiting! This must be the original meaning of 'two feet wide'!

    1. I guess with the reduced resolution I use for the blog, it's not easy to see the crow at the end of the path. I'm not familiar with the "two feet wide" expression, but it sure suits.

  2. A mysterious path and at the end I must say I'd rather go blind. (I am a fan of Etta James) What is it ? A house ?! This reminds me of the Enya ( not my cup of tea , but my mom loves her songs) song who can say where the road goes...only time....Your shot asks for an explication, I am curious.

    1. I'm afraid it's nothing more interesting that a big black crow... well, not so big in the photo ! Anyway, I just found the sinuous path to be interesting. Instead of a straight line to the water's edge, this beaten path is not in a hurry to get there. (And, at last, I too am more of a fan of Etta than Enya.)

    1. Alas, I no longer have a four legged furry friend. This was one of my fine feathered friends (a crow) !

    1. You have a good eye. I did not realize just how small it would be in "internet size". But otherwise, there would have been no mystery.
