I mentioned in yesterday's post that I recently went to see a photo exhibition in Tours; that exhibition was in the Château de Tours which was constructed in the 11th century. It has had a long and sometime difficult history including being nearly completely destroyed. But this remaining building has been meticulously restored and now hosts art and photo exhibitions.
Il faut que je retourne en Touraine...

ReplyDeleteYes. It's a good idea to take a tour... autour de la tour.
DeleteThe tower looks a tiny bit incongruous next to the building for some reason. Or maybe it's just me.
ReplyDeleteIt does appear to be in a different style. Can't explain it.
DeleteA photograph exhibition in a chateau, what a wonderful venue Stuart!
