You can tell by the look on their faces that I've been caught. I tried to sneak up on them but of course that was impossible. The one on the left is already crouched down in preparation for lift off. More on this story tomorrow.
Ah. They look healthier than the Paris ones. That would be the ones that enjoy messing up my windowsills every other day. That would be the ones I hate with a passion.
They look very suspicious! I would not be surprised it is not the first time they see you around and think you can be a serial pigeon (killer) euh...photographer!
Pigeons are very smart birds with a perfect GPS system in their brain. Able to memorize and recognize human faces. Knowing exactly where they are and getting back home from any place. Really stunning !
Tess looking at pigeons from her hospital bed . The couple on your spot is beautiful.
I did not know that about human faces. I had better start wearing a mask when I want to go "shoot" them! I as so pleased to hear from you, Tess. I trust they are taking good care of you and all is going according to plan.
It's almost impossible to sneak up on a bird.. here they have to keep a beady eye out for cats on the ground and falcons in the sky.. makes for a very nervous existence :)

ReplyDeleteFor me, the main problem with them is the noise. They can be quite loud and go on for a long time.
DeleteYes, I'm interested to learn more about the pigeon house.
ReplyDeleteWell, at least you'll get a wider view !

DeleteThey're remarkable birds. I look forward to where you're taking this!
ReplyDeleteThey are definitely not everybody's favorite. Anyway, stay tuned.
DeleteYou're right, they are not everybody's fave., but I rather like them.
ReplyDeleteI suspect they would be better liked here if there were fewer of them.
