Great b&w reflection . You got the "eye"for beautiful pics. Il ove cobblestones. Memory lane: wounded knees and bleeding nose when falling from the bike as a child. Tess
Thanks, Tess. I too had my share of bicycle falls but I can't blame it on the cobblestones as there weren't any where I grew up. But there were clotheslines !

DeleteYes, cobblestones are treacherous, but I love them! Good photo Stuart.
ReplyDeleteThanks. They are certainly wonderful to see. But navigating them can be a problem.
Deletei love cobblestones! nice!
ReplyDeleteWe have lots of them here. I don't know what France would do if it ever ran out of stone. It's in almost everything.
DeleteCobblestones are so appealing to look at.. walking in high heels is another story :) Makes a super B&W image Stuart.
ReplyDeleteOh the hazards of being stylish ! Thanks.
DeleteI'm convinced that walking on these will improve your balance. Until you've lost it, then you're in trouble.
ReplyDeleteThey certainly make you focus on your walking... that's for sure.
DeleteLes pavés sont photogéniques and I love rattling over them whether driving a car on a bicycle!
ReplyDeleteRattling is definitely the correct word here. I think I prefer photographing them to riding on them !
DeleteI've always liked the look of cobblestones. This shot works beautifully.
ReplyDeleteThanks William.
