As someone who has in the past tried to get up close and personal with the birds, I can say they inherently know more about social distancing than us humans.  Thank goodness for telephoto lenses (and video-conferencing).

the floating bridge

The Loire is very high at the moment as are other rivers in France due to all the recent rains.  This bicycle path bridge in Amboise looks to be floating on the surface as the path on either side is under water.

The early morning light gave the bridge Leclerc a nice golden glow.  Appropriate, as it leads to the Island of Gold (l'ile d'Or).
