tracks in the snow

You've probably already guessed by now that this is not a photo from this year.  It would appear the chances of snow this year are nil.  Anyway, this was taken from the pedestrian overpass at the train station in Amboise last January.

    1. Well, I'm hoping so. Gotta replenish the stock of snow photos.

  2. Il semble que tu sois réellement en manque...de neige! Mais rien n'est perdu, il paraît qu'environ un mois ou un mois et demi après être tombée sur la côte est des états-Unis, elle risque d'arriver jusqu'ici...

  4. Love your title Stuart :) Have you not had any snow at all this winter? Is that unusual?

    1. Ah, I'm glad someone noticed. Not a flake (that I've seen). I don't know how unusual that is. I do think, however, that it has been a warmer than usual winter so far.

  5. Hope keeps us alive so I'm still hoping for March or even April snow, lol!
Love how the white makes it so graphic!

    1. Exactly ! Of course, I don't have to commute in it or send off a child to school in it, so I can be a bit selfish in my hopes.

  6. The lines of train tracks always seem to make for good photos. This one works very well indeed!

  7. Stuart, I hate to tell you but last year had the most repeated snowfalls in the Loire and Paris that I have seen since I came to France in 1975 ... But they're predicting hail for tomorrow.

    1. So I guess I should feel lucky that I got snow pics the last two years. And I better offer them up sparingly !
