Eglise Notre-Dame

Eglise Notre-Dame-du-bout-des-ponts sits cuddled up next to the levee on the right bank of the Loire.  Note the "11 D" marking on the opening... that indicates stairway number "11 droite" ("right" in French).  The stairways allow you to walk down to the base of the levee on the river side.  Here is the church from another angle.

  2. That's another beautiful shot. So how many stairs are there?

    1. That's a good question. More than a two story building... fewer than needed to get in shape !

  3. Excellent shot, Stuart, and angle to take it from. It looks like it's an old, enduring church.

    1. It looks more so from this angle. As churches go in this area it's one of the smaller ones.
