la pagode - a last look before spring

Here is another angle of the pagoda in Amboise... that's it at the end of the road.  Even though the sun was out on this day in March, there was practically no green or any other color.  So I went for the black and white treatment again.  Don't worry, there are more colorful spring colors to come.

  1. C'est une photo superbe avec ces branches qui semblent caresser le promeneur dont le but encore lointain apparaît au bout du chemin.

    1. Oh, merci ! C'est de la poésie ! Vous devez écrire mes descriptions.

  2. I appreciate this series on the pagode as I've never seen it in person. So close, and yet so far. It's like when I lived in San Francisco for nearly 18 years and never set foot on Alcatraz. One of these days...

    1. It's not a free entry to the grounds unfortunately. My previous post, however, was taken from outside the grounds... as was this one.

  3. It feels so gloomy to me. The trees look like thickit, only the shadows on the path bring some light. But I think the pagoda at the end makes it worth to go ahead.

    1. The only problem is, one is not allowed to go down this road ! Anyway, less gloomy photos to come.

    1. The pagoda is in the forest of Amboise which is pretty large and very beautiful throughout the year... but for different reasons.
