farewell to the sunflowers


Sunflower "season" is pretty much over but here is a shot from my archives when they were at their peak.

    I love when they appear and hate when they die. The entrance of my favorite season to the foretelling of the winter to come. Hey I made that all up myself, give me a break! :-)

    I have seen a few poor old Sunflowers in my area and they don't look to happy this time of the year.
