bowling for tulips

I have been remiss in not already capturing the players of petanque, but this opportunity allowed me to resolve that as well as capturing the tulips in full bloom.  Petanque is a French national pastime and for Americans it would  seem to be somewhat a combination of bowling and horseshoes. It's not only played for fun but also for serious competitions.

  1. Boule is very popular in Sweden, at least among the somewhat older citizens. Nice with all the tulips here.

  2. Those tulips are a delightful sight. I've seen the odd game of petanque here in summer.

  3. This is the prettiest petanque scene I've seen Stuart 😊 it's such a fun thing to do, we often drag out the boules when we have everyone here for Christmas, or on the Easter picnic, it's super fun.
