No it didn't snow in Amboise last night, but it did two years ago when I took this picture of the main pedestrian shopping street at the bell tower. I thought this might be a good way to kick off the holiday season.
A beautiful picture to introduce the Christmas season. I worked very hard the last weeks to prepare my doctoral degree in psychology, lost so much time after my accident. Hope to be on a good way now but it's not so easy. I wish you a wonderful Christmas time and may be some new snow in Amboise. Sincerely Tess
Hi Tess. Thanks for the update. Good luck with the degree. My wife went that route "awhile back" but in education... it was indeed not easy. I'm looking forward to snow but it will have to be in the States since that's where I'll be until February. So don't be surprised to see a lot of "archive" photos for a while on ADP. Have a super Christimas. I imagine it will be a bit warmer than mine.
So pretty Stuart.. snow at Christmas must be wonderful.. I just saw on the weather ahead it's forecast for 31C here on Christmas day, actually that's pretty perfect also :)
This is a wonderful picture, I thought it was fresh snow !
ReplyDeleteWell it was fresh when I took the photo. In fact it was still snowing.

ReplyDeleteI hope so (even though I'm sure the retailers don't agree).
DeleteThat's absolutely perfect! So when are you leaving?
ReplyDeleteIf you mean leaving for the States, I'm already there (until February).
DeleteBeautiful shot!
ReplyDeleteWe need a little of that this year. We're supposed to be up toward 12ºC for the next few days, with rain. Yuck.
