the tulip parade - le défilé des tulipes


It was a gorgeous day in Amboise yesterday.  And these tulips on top of the levee were happily catching some rays.

    Wow! I haven't seen my tulips in bloom here in Ohio for ten years, as the deer consider them a delicacy. At least they don't eat my daffodils(yet)!

    I love the brilliant display that tulips make. Hard toy be sad around a garden full of tulips.

    I guess you could stay here for a while shooting the tulips from every possible angle!
