Place Debré in December

The main square of Amboise is Place Debré and is located at the feet of the château.  The incline you see is the ramp up to the entrance.  Even without their leaves, the trees still provide lots of interest to a view of the square.

  1. I remember the square and the ramp leading to the château . I visited the châteaux de la Loire in 2011 and have charming and beautiful memories. Trees in winter are top models for good pics. Lol.

    1. I'm glad you enjoyed visiting my home town. This is a great area for trees. If you click on that keyword on the right of my blog, you'll see lots more. And who doesn't enjoy taking photos of top models !?

  3. It must be awkward for the shops displaying tables and such on that incline!

    1. Indeed a bit tricky, but for that location they tolerate it !

  4. The leaves being down for the season allow us something of a view. Nice shot, Stuart!
