City Daily Photo theme day - "squares"

The first of every month is theme day for the bloggers of City Daily Photo where each blogger posts an image that represents the theme.  For today's "squares" theme, I chose the confetti remaining from the Carnival Parade on the tiles of the town's main street, rue Nationale.  See how the other bloggers interpreted the theme here.

(This is what the good witch was sweeping up.)

  2. Nice shot and the good little witch had much work to clean. The blogger world is very organized with theme days , reflections shots etc. I awaited a pic of the traditional French brin de muguet!
    Lol

    1. I haven't see any in the blogs either, but the TV news did cover them (France2). We are leaving tomorrow on a little vacation, you know how difficult retirement can be ! So if you don't hear from me for a while it's not because I'm ignoring you !

  8. at least the 'good witch' had a broom - picking up all those little bits of confetti between the squares would be an onerous task!
