Sand along the Loire cast some nice warm shadows during a recent sunset in Amboise.

    1. Well now that I found it on the internet, I do. Including, and fitting for today, "Le soleil mon grand copain".

    1. Thanks. I think the sand evokes memories for everyone. I think of visiting my grandparents when I was a child. The lived two blocks from a beach in Florida.

    1. At least for the moment. A few weeks ago this was under water, and I expect it will be again.

  9. I think the wonderful thing about footsteps in the sand is their ever changing pattern. One minute there, a wave washes over, they're gone, nice !

    1. In this case, it's the rising river level that washes over. This section had been underwater for months but is now drying out in the warmer, and dryer, weather.
