the ram

If looks could kill, as the expression goes.  Although he does not look happy about posing for a portrait he didn't bother to get up and move away either.  I do like the double curl of his horns.

  1. I think it looks rather intrigued, perhaps wondering if its other profile isn't better...

    1. He may be thinking "how can I get over that fence and get that annoying guy?"

  2. Funny pic even if this guy looks not very happy. His wool would make a good pull for cold days. I hope you had a nice trip.

    1. I suppose being penned up all the time would not make anybody happy. Not that you would know about that. It's warming up here so maybe he'll be happy when they do take his wool and he can cool off. And, yes, we had a wonderful trip to the Swiss and Italian Alps. I'm still working on the photos !

  3. My aunt and uncle had rams for awhile. They could get temperamental at times. This fellow seems wary.

    1. If it weren't for the fence, he might have been a bit more aggressive !

  4. Perhaps he's saying to himself, "will this guy ever go away so I can rest my heavy head on this log pillow in peace?"

    1. That's probably correct. It was around siesta time then.

    1. Yeah, I never got the evil eye from an animal before like this.

    1. Yeah, despite the stink eye, he seemed pretty docile and welcoming.
