      Yes, that purple is indeed lavender! (Don't ask me what the yellow is!)

    Just stunning. The colors, the shapes. I love it all. The government of France should pay you for all the good will you inspire and these enticements to see their beautiful country. Thanks, again, for sharing your adopted homeland with us all.

    Oh I bet this smells as good as it looks Stuart.. lavender, love it!
    p.s. just to let you know how much I enjoyed your images from chateaus Chaumont and Chenonceau.. the suits of armour helmets made me think of 'Game of Thrones' just because I've watched a lot of it lately :)

    Beautifully framed picture! It leads your eyes to follow from the lavender fields, by the water jet through the top of the church steeple.
