I can only say that on my most recent ride, there were definitely hunters in the woods. I heard gunfire (which made me extremely nervous) and in some places there were signs warning of hunting in the area. Just at the entrance to this trail there is a sign indicating this area is "Forêt Privée Française" with icons forbidding littering, fires, motorized vehicles, and getting off of the paths... but no signs regarding hunting here.
beautiful...i get nervous hiking during hunting season...they have changed it here i heard to let people hunt now on sundays...that was our free from hunters hiking day :(
Nice perspective! This is trouble with living on a hill. I can't just get on the bike and go. Well I can, but in any direction, there's a climb involved one way or the other.
Is hunting allowed? I really like this shot, btw. It really captures how the forest rides look at the moment.

DeleteNice place for a walk, if possible without gunfires...
ReplyDeleteI agree. I could do without the shooting.

ReplyDeleteA pretty fall scene!
ReplyDeleteAnd one can certainly do without the hunting.
DeleteLove those yellow leaves hanging on for dear life! Thanks for this refreshing post after the gunshots of this morning.

ReplyDeleteI think hills are like the wind. Always start out uphill and against the wind.
