the Loire, looking east

It seems like most of my photos of the Loire are taken towards the west.  But this day I took a panorama looking towards the east with the Ile d'Or on the right.  The water level is pretty low lately as evidenced by the sand bars you see on the right as well as the remains of the remains of the piers of an old bridge in the foreground.  Both are generally under water.

Disclaimer:  I'm still "on the road", so don't be surprised if I'm not making my usual responses to your comments or making my own comments on your blog!

  2. It is a nice reflection. and the lower water level adds some new interest to the view.

    1. I was lucky to get this, as the water level has risen enough to cover the old bridge pilings.
