taters and maters


Well that's not what they're called here but that's what we would call them in the southeast US.  These are more wonderful gifts from our neighbor's gardens.

    That tomato bowl looks handmade, and sets them off beautifully! It would match my Ohio kitchen.

      It is handmade, and it is an "heirloom" for my wife and me. We bought it at a crafts fair in the late 80's.

      Can't wait to see how the grape harvest goes this year. If it's as good as the tomotoes, it'll be great.

    I think that's the first time I've heard tomatoes referred to like that.

    They look delicious! We grew 'taters once and they were good, but we don't really have the space for it, and they're so inexpensive at the store...
