a summer's day


It was one of those hot days during the last heat wave and I was out collecting photos for ADP.  Then down by the Loire I encountered this father and daughter making the best of it by doing a little fishing.

  2. It has been the coldest and rainiest Summer in Sweden for as long as anyone can remember so just reading about a heat wave makes me warm!

  4. We were counting on a canoe ride down the Loire in September, but we'll have to confer with the rain gods.

    1. There are still lots of folks canoeing down the river now. The good news is that if you capsize, you can just stand up.

  5. One can see that the river really needs replenishing. You could really benefit from good rains and snow over the fall and winter.
