Last Monday there was an enormous brocante (a market of "stuff") at Amboise. There were so many interesting things to see and buy. This is but a tiny example that caught my eye.
The cute little reading guy is for me. I suppose these markets must be a real "treasure hunting".Momemts to discuss and spend some money and then at home to find the right place for the new "acquisition". Tess
I tell you it is difficult to not find something at these places. I guess it's a sign we're getting on little home in Amboise in order in that we didn't buy anything this time! But it was still fun to look and take photos.
I love the one with her hands cupping her face!
ReplyDeleteYeah, it's a delight !
Deletevery interesting "stuff". nice sculptures.
ReplyDeleteIt's great stuff... if not to buy, at least to look at.

ReplyDeleteNo remarkable we didn't. There a few things that we really liked but decided to hold out. They'll be back !
DeleteA market of French 'stuff' sounds very appealing :)
ReplyDeleteThe stuff was cool. So many antiques and old toys and such to drool over !
