This is somewhat of an unusual angle on the local château as it was taken from street level close to the Loire. The house to the right is privately owned and has its own architectural interest that I think makes it a nice complement to the big castle. I only wish I had had a pocket ladder so I could have gotten less wall in the image, although I suppose it does make for a more mysterious look.
I really like how you composed this one Stuart.
ReplyDeleteThanks. Love those diagonals.
DeleteI really like the photo but can understand about the pocket ladder. Maybe you could stand up on your bike!
ReplyDeleteThis day I was actually on foot roaming around town, but that would have been a good idea. As long as Elizabeth didn't see me doing it !
DeleteI like the interesting architecture and the beautiful composition of this picture!
ReplyDeleteThanks Karl.
Deleteha, i have a vision of you falling over the wall and not being able to get back over like that episode of i love lucy when she was reaching for a grapefruit in john wayne's yard? remember?!!
ReplyDeleteOh indeed I do remember that... when it was broadcast! Did your grandmother tell you about this episode !?
DeleteI think the wall adds to the image Stuart.. oh my imagine living next door to a chateau, that would be an impressive address oui :)
ReplyDeleteAnyway, it's nice to be in the same 'hood !
DeleteWell it's very nice to see a completely different view!
ReplyDeleteThat's what I'm here for !
DeleteIt's a wonderful angle for the shot, Stuart!
